People: Erik Heslenfeld
Graduated 1987 at Amsterdam University in Tax Law. Worked for Price Waterhouse (PW) as of 1988. Promoted to tax manager there in 1993. Left PW in 1996 and started his own business thereafter, incorporated Hillbrook Management BV in 2004 and in May 2010 transferred into a partnership with former PW colleague Henk Amorison.
In 2011, Erik and Henk were appointed as the Chapter Leaders for the Forum for Expatriate Management in NL. Erik focuses on:
Start-up businesses including, sole proprietorship, partnerships and (conversions into) private limited liability companies (BV);
30% - Ruling, cross border employment and expat tax issues including severances (international setting) and international social securities;
Divorces (legal and fiscal issues);
Dutch tax compliance including individual income tax, corporate income tax and Value added tax.
Erik is married to Maaiken and they have two children. In leisure time, Erik is keen to play tennis, watch or referee a hockey game of the kids. Erik is big fan of the Italian kitchen and is a treasurer of a local Neighborhood Foundation.
